Mini Mince Frangipane Tarts
My tasty tarts are encased in a rich, sweet shortcrust pastry generously filled with frangipane and my own Trudy’s Pies mincemeat.. beautifully baked and topped with almonds with a dusting of icing.
As always they are handmade and homebaked, with love, in my kitchen in Tenterden…..I think it’s time for tea!!
Delicious warmed or cold.

Frangipane 23%: (Ground almonds, butter (milk, salt (1.7%), caster sugar, almond extract, egg).
Mincemeat 26%: (Bramley apple, sliced almond, mixed ground spice (cinnamon, coriander seed, nutmeg, clove, pimenta, ginger), brandy, beef suet, raisins, sultanas, currants (sulphites), soft dark brown sugar, oranges, lemons).
All Butter Short Crust Pastry Case: 51% (Flour (wheat, calcium carbonate, niacin, iron, thiamin), caster sugar, butter (Milk, salt (1.7%), egg).
